Február 23-án jelenik meg az Amaranthe hetedik nagylemeze, ami a The Catalyst elnevezést kapta. A tizenkétdalos kiadványról ez idáig három nótát (Find Life, Damnation Flame, Insatiable) mutatott be a formáció, most pedig újabb felvezetővel csalogatják a nagyérdeműt.

Az új felállású alakulat ezúttal az Outer Dimensions című tételt hozta nyilvánosságra, amihez – az előző dalok példájára  – kisfilmet is készítettek.
